Flowers: c16/truss, broadly funnel to trumpet-shaped, 45 x 65mm, often 6-lobed, rosy crimson, paler at edges,
inconspicuously marked dark brown at base of dorsal lobe.
Calyx lobe 2-4mm long, reddish brown.

Foliage: obovate, 90-100 x 40mm, deep green above, thinly brown-felted below.
Large shrub.
